- Gentle Cleaning: Hand wash or use the delicate cycle on your washing machine with cold or warm water to protect the fabric and dyes.
- Choose the Right Detergent: Use non-enzyme, non-biological detergents to preserve the colors and fabric integrity.
- Skip the Dryer: Tumble drying can damage the fabric and cause further shrinkage. Gently press out excess water and air dry flat or on a hanger.
- Preserve Colors: Reshape your pieces while damp and dry them inside out, away from direct sunlight, to prevent fading.
- Wash Strong Colors Separately: Although pre-washed, strongly colored items may release some excess dye. Be sure to wash separately in cold water for the first wash, and combine with like colors for future washes.
